Friends of St Andrew's
The Parish Church of St Andrew, Stratton, Cornwall
Our Mission: to help preserve and maintain the building and churchyard for future generations
About Us
Thank you for visiting the FoStA web site -
St Andrew’s is a fine example of medieval church architecture in a wonderful setting. In recognition of this we have been awarded Grade 1 listed status. But with that recognition comes great responsibility.
Having stewardship of such a beautiful church makes considerable demands on our present congregation. It is our responsibility to maintain the building and churchyard not only for those who worship here now, but also for the generations to come.
The congregation gives its time and talents to fundraising events and donates generously towards our primary objectives of ministry and mission. However, it is difficult to fund all the maintenance work without additional help.
FoStA was established to help preserve St Andrew’s for the benefit of everyone.
All contributions to the Friends of St Andrew’s go towards maintaining the fabric of the building and the upkeep of the Churchyard.
The establishment of FoStA was generously assisted by a donation from our Founding Sponsor, the late Mrs Coral Forshew, to whom we remain most grateful. We very much hope you will follow her example and likewise help us to preserve this beautiful church for all time.
